Enigmatic producer Rrose came to the attention of the worldwide techno scene in 2011 after the release of 3 EPs and an album on the now defunct Sandwell Di- strict label. Densely textured and experimental yet wholly at home on the dance- floor, Rrose’s music demonstrates a deep knowledge of both techno and pre-techno electronic music.
Other identifying features include a focus on the tactile qualities of sound and the integration of gradual, interconnected transformations of material. 2012 brings the launch of Eaux, a new label for Rrose productions and collaborations.
